Depiction: the statue of Saint Michael in Lourdes and the garden of the basilica; the inscription on the front reads: “96 LOURDES. – La Statue de Saint Michel et la Basilique.” The series is 96. The route is Lourdes–Saligney. The date is 1910. The stamp is a République Française 5 c stamp with the Semeuse design; it is a green stamp without an overprint. The postmark reads: LOURDES; 20. Collector verification is required, as a valuable variety of this stamp may exist; it should be examined separately on the basis of its perforation, watermark, paper, colour and overprint.
