Austria 1919-1920 Deutschosterreich Eagle 5h & 10h - 11 Imperforate Stamps, Shades, MNH
An interesting selection of eleven imperforate Deutschosterreich coat-of-arms stamps from the early Austrian Republic, arranged to show contrasting colours and shades. The lot comprises: 2 x 5 heller in green; 3 x 5 heller in grey to dark grey; 6 x 10 heller in red and carmine shades. Repeated denominations make this an appealing group for collectors interested in comparing printings, colour shades and papers. This is a study selection rather than a complete set. The photographs show the differences between the individual examples; no specific rare shade or paper thickness classification is claimed. Mint never hinged (MNH). Both front and back are illustrated. Please examine the photographs, which form part of the description. All eleven actual stamps pictured are offered together as one lot.
