Brand or publisher: Cartes Jany. Series: Montpellier – 18. Date: 1949. Stamp: France, 1 F, Marianne portrait, with the inscriptions “RF” and “POSTES”; a perforated green-blue stamp. Postmark: MONTPELLIER CENTRALE; 25 VIII 1949. Collector’s examination is required: a valuable variety of this stamp may exist; it should be examined separately based on its perforation, watermark, paper, colour and overprint.
