East German FDJ-Initiative Berlin illustrated commemorative envelope. 10pf Leipziger Strasse housing complex and 20pf Berlin-Marzahn youth construction stamps, with matching Berlin 1085 special cancellation dated 6 June 1979. The stamps were issued on 22 May; this is a commemorative cover rather than an FDC. Blue construction worker and Berlin television tower cachet. Unaddressed. Actual item shown front and back; ageing, marks and pencil note visible.
