For sale is the 1908 French circulated picture postcard shown in the image; the year was checked and finalized by the collector. Depicted are Beauvais’s old half-timbered houses on Rue Saint-Laurent, with a cobbled street scene. The printed caption dates the houses to the fifteenth century; this refers to the buildings. Publisher: Édition Jeanne Hachette, 48. The front shows a green 5-centime Semeuse stamp and a Beauvais postmark. The reverse bears a brief handwritten greeting and a Paris address.
