Russian Empire, 1916 provisional surcharge: 10 kopeks on the brown 7 kopeks Romanov portrait stamp of Tsar Nicholas II. Michel 113 / Scott 110. Horizontal strip of five with left sheet margin and marginal printing. Uncancelled, with gum. Visible creasing and damage along the upper part, particularly on the central stamp; this is not a fault-free strip. One strip of five, not a complete issue set. The exact example photographed. Front and reverse shown. Please examine both photographs carefully for condition.
